Transit Service Canada Day and Monday July 2nd

WINNIPEG - JUNE 28, 2001 - On July 1st, Canada Day Winnipeg Transit will be operating a regular Sunday service. In addition, for Canada Day festivities, there will be increased Portage Avenue service, and the 99 Downtown Flyer will be extended to provide free shuttle service. The Downtown Flyer will operate every 10 –14 minutes as shown on the map from 11:00 a.m. to 12 midnight.


Monday, July 2nd: As many organizations are closed on Monday July 2nd, Transit will be operating on a Saturday schedule. For schedule information, please check your timetables, Telebus, the Transit Web site at www.winnipegtransit.com or call Transit Information at 311.
