Mission

We optimize the performance of the organization as a whole by providing leadership in the areas of:

• Interdepartmental coordination and issues management
• Strategic management
• Internal and external communications
• Executive support

Mandate

The Chief Administrative Officer is the administrative head of the organization and reports to Executive Policy Committee. The Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) has also established, in keeping with the Organization By-law, a Chief Administrative Officer’s (CAO) Secretariat.

Under the direction of the CAO, the CAO Secretariat plays a leadership role in implementing strategic priorities of Council, Executive Policy Committee, the CAO and the Senior Management Team.
