Expectations for government have become increasingly high. As auditors we must understand these expectations, listen to our clients and anticipate their needs. Communicating about modern concepts and principles will assist Council and the Administration in their governance and stewardship responsibilities.
When an organization undergoes a major transformation, policies, protocols, attitudes and behaviour may be misaligned with new accountability structures, management styles, values and processes. Traditional control structures can become ineffective in managing the risks of the emerging organization. Business objectives and risk management must evolve in response to client needs and new opportunities in the external environment. In addition, new governance and accountability frameworks may be necessary. We support the organization in this transition through the activities carried out under this business line. These activities are proactive and concerned with getting it right the first time.
