Tuesday, May 13   Nomination Period begins - Senior Election Official begins accepting completed Nomination Papers during regular business hours until 4:30 p.m., Tuesday, May 20, 2008

Monday, May 19   VICTORIA DAY – STATUTORY HOLIDAY - CITY HALL CLOSED
     
Tuesday, May 20   Nomination Period ends - Senior Election Official will accept completed Nomination Papers until 4:30 p.m.

Wednesday, May 21   Deadline for Withdrawal - Candidates may withdraw their nomination, in writing, until 4:30 p.m.

Random draw at 6:00 p.m. to determine the order in which candidates’ names will appear on the ballots

  Public Notice of By-Election, including Names of Nominated Candidates, Hours of Voting, Advance Voting, Voting by Sealed Envelope Ballot, ID requirements, etc. appears in newspapers
     
Tuesday, May 27   Senior Election Official begins accepting in person, written applications to Vote by Sealed Envelope Ballot through to Friday, June 20 at 4:30 p.m.
     
Thursday, June 12   Advance Voting opens - at Maples Collegiate, 1330 Jefferson Ave. on the following dates:

Thursday, June 12 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Friday, June 13 1:00 - 6:00 p.m.
Saturday, June 14 1:00 - 6:00 p.m.
     
Saturday, June 14   Advance Voting at Maples Collegiate closes at 6:00 p.m.
